We built Random Pussies to be the calmest corner of your phone, and that includes how we treat your data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have — in plain language, no fine-print gymnastics. 🐾
1. Who we are
Random Pussies ("we", "us") operates the Random Pussies mobile application and this website. If you have questions about this policy, reach us any time at privacy@rpp.app.
2. Information we collect
We keep collection to the minimum needed to run the app:
- Account basics — if you choose to create an account, your email address and a display name.
- Your favourites — the cats you save, stored so your collection is there next time you open the app.
- Device & usage data — app version, device type, OS, and anonymous interaction events to fix bugs and improve the experience.
- Diagnostics — crash reports that help us keep the app purring.
You can use the core "swipe for a random cat" experience without an account.
3. How we use your information
We use the information above to provide and maintain the service, sync your saved favourites across devices, understand which features people love, respond to support requests, and keep Random Pussies secure. We do not sell your personal information. Full stop.
4. Advertising & tracking
Random Pussies contains no third-party advertising and no cross-app tracking. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not share identifiers with ad networks.
5. Sharing your information
We share data only with the service providers that help us operate the app — for example cloud hosting and crash-reporting tools — and only to the extent they need it to perform that work. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
6. Data retention
We keep account and favourites data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal reasons.
7. Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can manage your favourites in-app and request account deletion at privacy@rpp.app. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
8. Children's privacy
Random Pussies is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep your data safe and to notify you promptly of any incident that affects it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of Random Pussies after an update means you accept the revised policy.
